Hertfordshire Olympic rower and Paris 2024 bronze medallist Rowan McKellar visited school to talk to children about trying different sports and activities before deciding on what is their preferred sport. She talked about when she rowed as a junior, sharing that success and wins were hard to come by and that she needed to keep in mind her goal of becoming an Olympian to help keep her motivated and keep on trying. She then presented the 2024-2025 Pupil Councillors with their badges and handed out certificates. Children were also able to see and wear her bronze medal. A wonderfully inspiring visit for our children.
